When is WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans next year?

The last time WWE hosted a WrestleMania pay-per-view in New Orleans, Daniel Bryan almost defeated the entire Evolution stable by himself en route to winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in 2014.

For the first time since that incredible night, WWE will bring back its biggest night of the year to New Orleans to host WrestleMania 34 in 2018. Before 2014, New Orleans had never hosted a ‘Mania event, and for the second time in four years, The Big Easy will be the home of the biggest night of the year in WWE.

But when will the event take place in 2018? Back in January, WWE announced that New Orleans would be the home of their biggest night of the year once more.

In their official statement about the event, here’s some of what WWE said:

"As first reported by The Times-Picayune, WrestleMania 34 will emanate from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday, April 8, 2018.A capacity crowd of 75,167 WWE fans filled the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in 2014 for WrestleMania 30. That was the year that The Undertaker’s WrestleMania Streak famously came to an end at the hands of Brock Lesnar, as well as the event where Daniel Bryan defeated Batista and Randy Orton in a triple threat main event to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship"

New Orleans was the host of one of WWE’s craziest nights ever, which included Lesnar ending The Undertaker’s undefeated streak, Bryan’s two victories to open and close the show and Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock all in the ring together in one of the most memorable segments in the event’s history.
