The New York Mets will host their National League East rival Atlanta Braves on 2017 MLB Opening Day on Monday. Here is how to watch the game online.

Monday, April 3 will be 2017 MLB Opening Day for 24 of 30 MLB teams. One of those games will feature two National League East rivals in the Atlanta Braves and the New York Mets. First pitch from Citi Field in Flushing will be at 1:10 p.m. ET.

Taking the mound for the Mets will be right-hander Noah Syndergaard. New York went 87-75 in 2016, finishing in second place in the National League East. The Mets hosted the 2016 National League Wild Card Game and lost to the San Francisco Giants, 3-0. Atlanta went 68-93 in 2016, finishing in last in the National League East. This was the third season in a row that Atlanta failed to reach the NL Postseason.
