The Gonzaga Bulldogs will take on the North Carolina Tar Heels in the 2017 National Championship Game. Here is how to watch all of the action online.

The National Championship Game will feature two of the best teams in college basketball this season, which should make for an exciting finale on Saturday night. The Gonzaga Bulldogs will be making their school’s first appearance in the title game, while the North Carolina Tar Heels will be looking to avenge their last-second loss in last year’s championship. Both teams had to escape a near loss in the national semifinal round, but are each well deserving of their place in the biggest game of the year.

In their Final Four matchup, the Bulldogs appeared to be in complete control, looking like they would coast to their first title game. However, South Carolina came storming back late, going on an absurd 16-0 run, while actually taking a two-point lead on two free throws by Rakym Felder. Gonzaga righted the ship, going on a 7-0 run of their own, and eventually won the game, 77-73.

Like Gonzaga, North Carolina looked to be on their way to a comfortable win with a strong start to the second half, but as was the case with the Gamecocks, the Oregon Ducks failed to go easily. Led by a career-game by Kennedy Meeks, the Tar Heels would go on to win the game by one point, as their offensive rebounding proved to be too much at the end of the game. The Tar Heels got the offensive board on two consecutive missed pairs of free throws, and eventually were able to run out the clock.

This game is going to be a battle of the big men, as whoever wins the rebounding battle, will likely take home the championship. Aside from Meeks, Carolina also has Isaiah Hicks down low, as the two seniors are tough to keep off the glass. Freshman Tony Bradley also grabs his fair share of boards, as the near-seven footer is a nice compliment off the bench for the Tar Heels. The Zags have Przemek Karnowski and Zach Collins, two seven-footers who really dominated down low against South Carolina.

Keep an eye on the point guard matchup, as Tar Heels junior Joel Berry II looked a bit off in the team’s win against Oregon. Berry was playing with ankle issues, and he is going to have an even tougher matchup Monday against Nigel Williams-Goss. If Berry plays like he did on Saturday, Williams-Goss is going to have a strong game, which could prove to be the difference in what should be a very close matchup.
