Tom Brady reunited with missing Super Bowl jerseys

Tom Brady’s missing Super Bowl jerseys are finally back with their rightful owner. New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft presented Brady with both missing jerseys Monday morning.
In the hours after the Patriots stunning comeback win over the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI, news broke that New England QB Tom Brady’s jersey from the game had disappeared. The Texas Rangers — no, not those Texas Rangers — were called in to help with the search for the missing jersey.
On March 21, the jersey was recovered in Mexico along with Brady’s game jersey from Super Bowl XLIX and Von Miller’s helmet from Super Bowl L.
“Through the cooperation of the NFL and New England Patriots’ security teams, the FBI and other law enforcement authorities, the Super Bowl LI jersey worn last month by MVP Tom Brady has been recovered,” the NFL said in a statement.
This morning, those jerseys were finally returned to Brady by Patriots owner Robert Kraft. The Patriots tweeted out a video showing Kraft presenting Brady with the jerseys.
Understandably, Brady was happy to get his jerseys back. “Pretty cool… that’s awesome,” Brady said as Kraft held up the recovered jerseys.

Brady gave credit to the NFL and law enforcement agencies who assisted in the search.
“I know they worked hard on this case – and it is very much appreciated,” Brady said. “Hopefully when I get the jerseys back I can make something very positive come from this experience.”
Brady has not indicated if he plans to keep or sell the jerseys, but his jersey from Super Bowl LI was valued at $500,000 in a police report.
