Tom Brady chases and tackles Rob Gronkowski before the Red Sox Opener to recover his recently found Super Bowl jersey…Again!

Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski were among a few of the New England Patriots, as well as the team owner Robert Kraft, who attended the Boston Red Sox home opener at Fenway Park. The Patriots were showing off their fifth Lombardi Trophy that was won this past season against the Atlanta Falcons.

Brady also had a special token he was showing off to the crowd. The infamous game-worn jersey that he had stolen from him after the Super bowl was found a few weeks ago.

Fresh off an appearance at WrestleMania, Rob Gronkowski still seemed to be in character as he snatched the jersey from Tom Brady and ran toward right field. Tom Brady chased him and tackled him, and Patriots fans held their breaths for a second as Gronkowski hit the ground. Here’s a link below of the incident:

It was all in good fun, but Gronkowski missed eight games last season to repair a herniated disk in his back on December 2. Gronkowski seemed fine after and he even knocked down somebody last night during WrestleMania to prove his health:

With all that aside though, I’m sure Patriots fans do not want to see their star tight end continually testing his surgically repaired back by getting tackled. Gronkowski loves to have fun, and he is a fan favorite all around the world, but he has not been able to consistently stay on the field the past few seasons due to constant injuries he has been going through.

Still, injuries aside he has managed to score 68 Touchdowns and rack up over 6,000 receiving yards in only 88 career games. The Patriots still won the Super bowl without their star tight end, but I’m sure they would’ve had an easier time if he was on the field causing mismatches all over the field.

It is good to see Gronk having fun out there, and I’m sure the world is at peace now that Brady has finally recovered his prized jersey back.
