The Atlanta Falcons had a magical season in 2016, though it turned into a nightmare on the biggest stage in football. Up 28-3 in the second half, the Falcons saw their defense crumble against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, leading to a crushing overtime loss. The organization says they have put the loss in the rearview mirror, and are ready to move forward in 2017.

On offense, the Falcons are pretty loaded, boasting some of the best big-play ability in the league. While offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan is gone, that should not stop Matt Ryan from continuing to be one of the best quarterbacks in the league. This team needs help on the offensive line, specifically at guard, and Dan Feeney is the best at that position available in this draft class.

Feeney could wind up being the best pro of all the lineman in this draft, as he is probably the only one who is going to stay at his natural position. He has such good feet for a player his size, and protecting Ryan has to be the priority for the Falcons moving forward. Atlanta should be a contender once again in 2017, with a player like Feeney being a backbone on the offensive line for years to come.
