Tre'Davious White

CB, LSU

With two picks in the first round, the New Orleans Saints have a real opportunity to bolster their roster in three weeks. While they lost a key piece when they traded Brandin Cooks, a first round pick in a draft this deep was a pretty fair trade. Expect the Saints to get better on defense at No. 32, bringing in one of the many first round talents at cornerback in this draft class.

Tre’Davious White is a freak of nature, and is really going to be a good player at the next level. He has great speed, and his ability to go up and get the ball is rivaled by few in this draft. White has the hands to be a difference maker in the defensive backfield, and the Saints need someone who is going to take away one half of the field.

There are so many ways the Saints can go with this pick, as some believe they could select a quarterback here. However, they brought Chase Daniels back in to be Brees’ backup for 2017, and he is young enough to take over for Brees if he ever does decide to retire. The NFC South is a pass-happy division, so getting secondary help with at least one of their two first round picks has to be a priority for the Saints.
