Kevin Love launched one of the more perfect long passes that you will ever see on Friday night to LeBron James
You can say what you want about this season for the Cleveland Cavaliers, seeing as they’ve had a lot of ups and downs throughout the long campaign. One thing you can’t deny about the defending champs, however, is that when they’re clicking on all cylinders, they can be scary good. That was no more evident than on Friday night when Kevin Love and LeBron James decided to have a full-on football scrimmage on the court.
The Cavaliers are taking on the Atlanta Hawks Friday night as the NBA regular season comes to a close, and near the end of the first half, Love came down with the rebound off the Atlanta miss.
Instead of setting up something going down the other end of the court, though, Love decided to just end this possession quickly for the Cavs. He did so by launching this beautiful fullcourt pass to LeBron who finished it all off with the emphatic throw down.
Just like the announcers on the broadcast stated and just like the tweet above from our friends over at Sports Illustrated says … TOUCHDOWN! Hell, there are some Big Ten football teams that can’t complete a pass that long on the gridiron in the fall. I kid, I kid — kinda.
Again, when the stars on this Cavaliers team are playing at a high level, they are scary to deal with, and that maybe spells nothing but trouble for teams looking to dethrone the champs in the playoffs that will be beginning shortly.
