Even the New York Knicks Twitter accounts are tanking after their PR account called Kristaps Porzingis a loser.
Nothing is going right for the New York Knicks this season.
Carmelo Anthony and Derrick Rose are out with injuries. They can’t stay out of the tabloids and are in them for all the wrong reasons. Moreover, the Knicks won’t be making it to the playoffs.
Business as usual for the Knickerbockers these days. Even their PR Twitter account is tanking after mistakenly tweeting Kristaps Porzingis has a “sore loser back”.

This is far more than mildly funny. Calling it “mildly funny” is like calling the Knicks “slightly terrible.” Sadly, this probably qualifies as one of the highlights of the season. At the very least, it’s one of the few times the Knicks have brought joy and laughter to people’s lives in 2017. Heck, this might be the only time they do it this year.
Porzinigis is the last Knick who should be referred to as a loser. The unicorn has been a consistent bright spot on an otherwise disappointing team. Porzingis is one of the most exciting players in the league to watch. It’s so much fun watching 7-foot-tall players nail three-pointers. Porzingis is the second coming of Dirk Nowitzki and fans need to embrace this. The only difference? Porzingis is in a major market city.

This season, he’s averaging 18.1 points, 2.0 blocks, 7.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. Porzingis is making 35.7 percent of his three-point shots, and he’s made it more of a point to have a paint presence this season. After averaging 8.9 two-point attempts per game in 2015-16, Porzingis is averaging over 10.2 this season. His PER has slightly slipped from 17.7 last season to 17.4 this season. However, Porzingis is still a unicorn and one of the most fun players to watch in the NBA.
