Since Sunday night many have been giving their thanks to The Undertaker, and now you can add Vince McMahon to that list

Sunday night at WrestleMania 33, the event concluded with The Undertaker seemingly finally calling it a career. Following his loss to Roman Reigns, Undertaker left his trench coat, gloves and hat in the ring, signifying that this would be the final time that we would get to see the legend perform in the ring for our enjoyment.

Since that night in Orlando, fans and fellow wrestlers alike have taken the time out of their schedules to give thanks to one of the biggest icons the industry has ever seen. On Twitter, these people are showing their gratitude to The Undertaker with the hashtag #ThankYouTaker.

Well now you can add the most important person in WWE to that list. On Friday afternoon, Vince McMahon took to Twitter to offer up a simple tweet, thanking one of the most loyal employees that he has ever had.

It’s been noted many times over that Vince and The Undertaker have a special relationship with one another, more than likely due to the aforementioned loyalty. When the Monday Night Wars were happening back in the mid-to-late 90s, performers were jumping ship left and right to WCW, but The Undertaker was one who never strayed. It was even rumored that at one point Shawn Michaels, another who never jumped ship, had asked for his release so he could go down south to be with his buddies.

It’s been amazing to watch the outpouring of support for The Undertaker over the last few days, thanking him for all the entertainment that he brought into our lives, but it holds a tad more weight when the boss himself takes the time to acknowledge one of the greatest to have ever worked for him.

Undertaker will be missed by the wrestling community, but he may be missed the most by Vince McMahon.
