It’s time for A-Day, but for fans that can’t make it to the Plains, here’s how to watch the Auburn football spring game online.
Auburn football spring practice is coming to an end as the Tigers pause to play the A-Day Spring Football Game.
The Tigers entered the spring on a bit of a downswing following three losses in their last four games last season, including losses to top rivals Alabama and Georgia, as well as a 35-19 defeat at the hands of Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl. Nevertheless, with 15 starters back from last year’s 8-5 squad, expectations are high once again in what is likely to be a make-or-break season for head coach Gus Malzahn.
The quarterback competition is the storyline of the spring as Baylor transfer Jarrett Stidham has a head start in the QB race and may take the job away from incumbent starter Sean White. Stidham has often practiced with the first-team offense this spring while White has been limited after suffering a broken forearm against the Sooners. The competition will continue into the fall.

Which ever QB takes the reins will have one of the SEC’s top running back duos in Kamryn Pettway, who rushed for 1,224 yards and seven touchdowns last season, and Kerryon Johnson, who added 895 yards and a team-high 11 TDs. However, the Tigers must replace top receiver Tony Stevens, as well as two starters on the offensive line.

There are also plenty of questions facing Auburn on the defensive side of the football. Second-year coordinator Kevin Steele has a tough job finding a replacement for elite pass rusher Carl Lawson and underrated defensive tackle Montravius Adams. However, the Tigers welcome back a veteran back seven, led by safety Tray Matthews and linebackers Tre’ Williams and Deshaun Davis.
