The 2017 Clemson Football Spring Game will be played on Saturday, April 8 at Memorial Stadium, and here’s all the info you need to watch.
The 2017 Clemson Football Spring Game might be one of the most fascinating to watch in the college football preseason. Obviously a big part of that has to do simply with the fact that they’re the defending National Champions. However, Dabo Swinney and company have plenty more they need to see on Saturday, April 8 inside Memorial Stadium
With the likes of Deshaun Watson, Ben Boulware, Cordrea Tankersley, Mike Williams and many others departing, it’s time for guys to step up. It’s always hard for the champs to defend, but it might be an even taller task for the Tigers given the turnover. The Clemson Football Spring Game will give a better idea of who’s ready to take up a leadership role.
Guys to watch will surely be the likes of Deon Cain at receiver and Christian Wilkins at defensive end to step up. However, Swinney will have all eyes at quarterback where there’s a battle waging on for the starting job. Kelly Bryant could be the heir to Watson’s spot having been in the program, but Hunter Johnson is going to push him as a freshman. It should be fun to see if he answers the call.
Saturday’s Clemson Football Spring Game will be one of several broadcasted on the ESPN family of networks. However, the defending champs will be seen on ACC Network Extra. You can access the channel online through WatchESPN or through the app using a cable or satellite subscription to log in.

Now that they have the trophy in their grasps, it’ll be interesting to see where they go from here. There’s going to be turnover, but Swinney is a darn good recruiter and coach. Expect the Tigers to impress this early in the year at the Clemson Football Spring Game.
