With the likes of Deshaun Watson, Ben Boulware, Cordrea Tankersley, Mike Williams and many others departing, it’s time for guys to step up. It’s always hard for the champs to defend, but it might be an even taller task for the Tigers given the turnover. Guys to watch will surely be the likes of Deon Cain at receiver and Christian Wilkins at defensive end to step up. However, Swinney will have all eyes at quarterback where there’s a battle waging on for the starting job. Kelly Bryant could be the heir to Watson’s spot having been in the program, but Hunter Johnson is going to push him as a freshman. It should be fun to see if he answers the call.
