TSN will be the station for Canadians to watch the 2017 Stanley Cup playoffs. What channel is it on?

The Sports Network, better known as TSN, is one of Canada’s largest sports networks. It features various channels and is the true north’s equivalent to ESPN. Recently, they acquired the rights for the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

This year’s NHL postseason should be extremely exciting. The Washington Capitals could win the franchise’s first Stanley Cup title. They have won the President Trophy for the second consecutive season and for the third time in their history. However, the Pittsburgh Penguins are looking to defend their title. Even without Kris Letang, don’t count out Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin.

Also, Canada’s back in the playoffs, as the Ottawa Senators, Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, and Montreal Canadiens have each clinched playoff spots. Moreover, the Toronto Maple Leafs are very close to clinching. A Canadian team hasn’t brought home Lord Stanley since the Canadiens did in 1993. Could the Stanley Cup finally return to the birthplace of hockey?

The NHL postseason always provides excitement and surprises. Just because the Capitals were the best team for the regular season doesn’t mean they’ll win the Stanley Cup. That’s the beauty of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Upsets aren’t uncommon.
