Here is the full breakdown of the prize money that each golfer will win if he places in the top 50.
The Masters are in full swing and there have already been a couple of big storylines after only a couple days of action.
Dustin Johnson, who suffered a back injury, went out to the course with the intention to play. Alas, he decided that he wouldn’t be able to compete in this year’s tournament. Johnson was the favorite to win the tournament this year and it was disappointing to see that he would not be participating. The good news for all of the people who placed bets on Johnson to win was refunded their money because he never actually started the tournament.
The other major headline is Charley Hoffman, who jumped out to a staggering lead over his opponents. He had a four-stroke lead over all of the other competitors, which is the largest lead in Masters history in 62 years. Hoffman’s best Masters finish was a ninth place finish in the 2015 Masters. There is still a long journey for Hoffman, but at least he has the upper hand over his competitors going into the following rounds.
So, how does the Masters purse disperse among all of the golfers? Well, per Golf News Net, we have a breakdown of the $10 million that will be split up among all of the players.
