West Ham face Swansea at London Stadium on Saturday, April 8. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
West Ham continue to play their way into the relegation battle. The Hammers have lost five straight games and sit just five points ahead of Swansea. After losing to Tottenham on Wednesday, Swansea are now two points behind Hull in the race for Premier League survival.
The Hammers were dominated by Arsenal on Wednesday. After several chances in the first half, the Gunners finally found the back of the next in the 58th minute when Mesut Ozil’s shot from outside of the box bounced past West Ham keeper Darren Randolph. Ozil set up Theo Walcot 10 minutes later and Olivier Giroud secured Arsenal all three points with his 83rd minute goal.
On Wednesday, Swansea faced Tottenham at Liberty Stadium. The Swans scored in the 11th minute when former Spurs player Wayne Routledge beat Hugo Lloris. Lukasz Fabianski was able to keep Tottenham from finding the back of the net until the 88th minute, when Tottenham’s passing broke down the Swans back line, allowing Dele Alli to score an easy equalizer. Three minutes later, Heung-min Son put Spurs ahead. Alli set up Christian Eriksen late in injury time to seal the win. Swansea deserved to get at least a point, but could not hang on until the final whistle.
If Swansea win on Saturday, the relegation battle gets extremely interesting. Hull, Swansea Crystal Palace and West Ham will all be within three points of each other. With Middlesbrough and Sunderland almost certainly going down, one of those four teams will join them in the Championship next season.

On Boxing Day, West Ham defeated Swansea 4-1. Do not expect West Ham to win by such a margin again. The Hammers have been awful lately and under Clement, the Swans have been significantly better defensively in 2017. Saturday’s game should be a competitive and fun game to watch between two squads who need to get all three points.
