Better Call Saul season 3 premieres on Monday, April 10 on AMC and here’s what you can expect to see from Jimmy McGill and company.
The third season of Better Call Saul will see Jimmy McGill as close to his Saul Goodman character viewers saw in Breaking Bad. The season 3 premiere is scheduled for Monday night at 10:00 p.m. ET on AMC with the first of 10 episodes that will air over the course of the spring.
The second season ended with Chuck and Jimmy further apart than ever before. Jimmy sabotaged Chuck’s work when he forged the paperwork he was working on and Chuck thinks he was set up by his younger brother. He goes to the copy place to do his own detective work to see if he can find evidence that Jimmy tampered with his work. Chuck had a spell and fainted and when he fell, hit his head and needed medical attention. Jimmy, who was spying across the street, intervened and tried to do the right thing.
He comes clean and confesses to Chuck that he forged the documents so he’d lose the case. He was doing it for Kim, but Jimmy’s attempt at clearing his conscience will come at a cost. Chuck was secretly recording Jimmy’s confession and this could be the breaking point for the two brothers who may never be able to repair their relationship after this ordeal.
Outside of Chuck and Jimmy, we’ll pick up season 3 with Kim running her own firm and Mike trying to figure out who left that note on his car that said “DON’T” when he was prepared to kill Hector Salamanca. "In the Season 3 premiere, Jimmy and Chuck’s relationship deteriorates; Kim feels the pressure of running her own firm; and Mike investigates the note left on his car."
I wonder if Mike’s investigation into the note will lead him to Gus Fring, who will appear in the series for the first time this season. The Breaking Bad villain who operated the Los Pollos Hermanos fast food restaurant is going to be a huge storyline to follow this season and for what I can imagine the rest of the series.
