With WWE’s “Superstar Shake-Up” looming, here’s a list of five superstars that could use a fresh start on a new show.

During the RAW after WrestleMania 33 last week, Mr. Vincent Kennedy McMahon returned to WWE programming and announced that “it was time to shake things up again.”

In simpler terms, that means stars on RAW and SmackDown Live could be switching shows on Monday and Tuesday night this coming week.

Last summer, the long-awaited brand split finally happened and the duos of Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley (representing RAW) and Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan (representing SmackDown Live) selected rosters for their respective brands. This week won’t bring a full-blown draft process, but you’re going to see some faces in some new places.

But, who could those stars be?

Let’s take a look at five superstars that could be finding themselves with a new home on weekly WWE programming, starting with one of the more obvious moves that could be coming.

No. 5: Sami Zayn moving from RAW to SmackDown Live

It’s been teased for a while (even when Mick Foley was the general manager of RAW), but one of the more obvious moves coming in the Superstar Shake-Up could Sami Zayn jumping from Monday to Tuesday nights and joining the SmackDown Live roster.

The tension between Zayn and RAW commissioner Stephanie McMahon has been brewing for months and despite the insertion of Kurt Angle in Foley’s place, there’s a good chance The Underdog from the Underground could be on the move.

Zayn can be great in his role on either show, but with a fresh start on the blue brand, he’ll have Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan — two crowd favorites — backing him and his push into the main event picture. It makes sense and help SmackDown Live maintain their “hey, this is actually the better weekly show for WWE” advantage moving forward.
