There is a party going on at Wrigley Field as the Chicago Cubs raise their first championship banner in 108 years. What better way to enjoy a rain delay than with Dancing with the Stars
I’m not sure if you have heard, but the Chicago Cubs won the 2016 World Series, their first win since 1908. Oh, you did? Okay.
Well, tonight is the team’s home opener at the historic Wrigley Field. Fans pack the stadium and all of Wrigleyville to be part of the ceremonies. Former Cubs, such as Ryne Sandberg and Billie Williams, are attending the festivities as the World Series Banner is raised to fly about the centerfield scoreboard.
If you watched any of the World Series, you know that Cubs fans will show up for a good party. Nothing will stop them. Down 3-2 in the World Series, they packed the streets outside of Wrigley to watch or listen to the games. They won, partying ensued, and tonight may rival that night.
Nothing will stop the party, not even a little rain. The day had been dreary, but rain was not drenching, at least not until about an hour before the game. A delay commenced, but the party continued.

Monday nights are a big television night also, including Dancing with the Stars. And beloved former Chicago Cubs catcher David Ross is a top contender this season. While the rain came down, the dancing began.

So, a stadium packed with rain soaked fans watched, and I think Ross may win this week. Not only did they watch, the voting information was posted on the scoreboard.

Enjoy the party, Chicago Cubs. You earned it. And good luck, Lady and the Gramp.
