The suspended wide receiver seems ready to move on from Cleveland.
The curious case of Josh Gordon has been a very strange story during this decade of football. The incredibly talented wide receiver has done his best to keep himself off the field rather than on it.
Gordon is currently indefinitely suspended from the NFL after failing multiple drug tests for marijuana. The receiver is up for reinstatement, which has yet to be granted by commissioner Roger Goodell.
Gordon has recently spent time in a drug rehabilitation program, which he completed. He’s set himself for a perfect opportunity returning to the league, but again that decision rests on the shoulders of Goodell.
The troubled wide receiver might not have any interest returning to the team that took a chance on him in the 2012 Supplemental Draft.
Gordon posted these pictures on his Snapchat account, which express his desire to be done with the Browns franchise.

Gordan has since deleted these pictures, which he was probably advised to by his agent, but he’s made his feelings about the Browns made known to the public.
Browns head coach Hue Jackson said shortly after Gordon’s suspension was announced that the team was moving on from Gordon.
“What’s best for our football team is that we move forward and move on,” said Jackson. “He’s not going to be with us and we wish him well, but we’re moving forward. We’re going to move on.”
Since then Browns general manager Sashi Brown was quoted saying during the offseason that the team would welcome back Gordon to the roster.
“Josh, assuming that he’d play at the level we started to see glimpses of last preseason and certainly when he was in the league before, would be a talent I think no team in the NFL would turn down if he got back in,” said Brown. “Our decision with Josh is just understanding where he is in his process and being able to add him, but we’re not in a position at the wide receiver to turn down a guy like Josh if we feel like he’s settled himself.”

Gordon appears to feel differently about his return to the team than Brown does. He seems ready to move on once he’s reinstated.
