If this poster is legit, it looks like we have a release date for Call of Duty: WWII. We aren’t sure if the game is even real, but we’re still excited.
If all the rumors and leaks are correct, it looks like the Call of Duty series is returning to its roots. There’s substantial evidence to basically confirm that Call of Duty: WWII is a reality. However, we won’t get our hopes up until it’s officially official. Another leak has been going around Twitter, which is a new poster. The poster reveals a release date for Call of Duty: WWII and it seems legitimate.
According to Charlie Intel, the alleged release date is Nov. 3, which makes a ton of sense since every Call of Duty title usually releases around that time. So this isn’t very surprising. However, like we said, we still don’t know whether or not this game is an actual reality. These leaks happen every year, though, and they’re usually correct.
The poster was first spotted by a YouTuber and then it made its way to Reddit. Check it out for yourselves below:

With all these leaks and rumors, it would do the Call of Duty series nothing but good to return to form. The last three games in the series have deviated heavily from the true Call of Duty formula. They traded “boots on the ground” gameplay for jetpacks and wall-running. Now, we aren’t saying they’re terrible games, but this just doesn’t resonate with the fans.
It also doesn’t help that Infinity Ward had to bundle up Modern Warfare Remastered with Infinite Warfare in order to even sell copies. That’s a bit shady if you ask us and it shows that the developers weren’t confident with their own game.
If the series really does return to the World War II era, this would be spectacular. There’s truly nothing like using traditional guns and not having to worry about people flying around, using a bunch of bizarre abilities.
Next: New Nintendo Direct coming on Wednesday
We can expect an official announcement very soon.
