Rob Gronkowski pours drink onto Jinder Mahal, helps Mojo Rawley win on SmackDown Live (Video)
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was at SmackDown Live supporting his buddy Mojo Rawley again on Tuesday night and yes, he participated again.
Rob Gronkowski is going to have to sign a deal with WWE if he keep showing up for shows.
Gronkowski, a friend of Mojo Rawley (who was wrestling in a match on Tuesday night) on SmackDown Live’s roster, was there with some folks sitting in the front row of Tuesday’s show and of course, he got involved.
As Jinder Mahal — the guy he pounced at WrestleMania 33 in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal to help Rawley win the thing — was dominating Rawley in their one-on-one match until he spotted Gronk in the crowd.
That was his big mistake.
Gronkowski took a beer (or something that probably costs about nine bucks at the TD Garden in Boston) and poured it right into Mahal’s face, allowing Rawley to bring him back into the ring and pick up the victory.
That feels like Gronk, right?
After the victory for Rawley, he leaped into the crowd and celebrated with Gronkowski and their buddies in attendance.
It wouldn’t be wrestling in Boston without a Gronkowski appearance. He’s the goofiest athlete alive and what better place would he fit in than on WWE programming again? It’s perfect for him.
And no, this probably won’t be the last time we see Gronk on WWE programming with Rawley. Let’s face it: he’s going to wrestle in a match at some point.
You know it, I know it and even Bill Belichick knows it.
