Von Miller says his best year is coming
By Scott Winter
Von Miller is laser-focused on the upcoming season, after watching his Denver Broncos miss the postseason.
Von Miller predicted that the upcoming season would be his best year coming as reported by Marc Sessler at NFL.com.
"“I feel like this Von coming up is going to be my best Von that I put forward. It’s gonna be my best year, that’s what I’m going for,” Miller said. “I have a full offseason, full OTAs, I’m gonna be here every single day training. It’s not all luck. … Now it’s just all football. I’m here, I’m settled in. It’s time to go play.”"
For those who do not remember, Miller was wrapped up in a contentious contract negotiation. Those negotiations were a grueling five months for the Super Bowl MVP. Instead of gearing up for OTAs last year, Miller was on Dancing with the Stars. Instead of being at training camp, Miller was hanging out at Michael Crabtree’s camp.
Even with that Von Miller only came up one vote short of the Defensive Player of the Year Award. A year in which he had 13.5 sacks and three forced fumbles.
However he did express his frustration with not making the playoffs, and the tension it brought.
That said, the Broncos have a new coach and a new defensive coordinator.

If this is the lowest point for a healthy Miller in his peak years, one can only imagine what his limit is. It will be fun season watching which offensive lines, if any, can slow down Miller’s chase for the DPOY award.
