1. Devin Booker — 70 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals, 1 block vs. BOS

Come on, Devin Booker’s record performance had to land him on top of this list.

Something positive has to happen to the lowly Suns, right? Well, here’s there one rare bright spot to an otherwise dark season.

It was a performance that nobody saw coming, an offensive onslaught by a player who has been growing leaps and bounds within the Suns’ system (whatever it is). Devin Booker is one of the league’s up-and-coming guards, and in Boston on Mar. 24, he showed the basketball world what he was capable of.

Booker went off for 70 points, becoming the youngest player ever to score that many points in a game and pointing up the highest point total since a dude named Kobe Bryant went off for 81 points on the Raptors many moons ago. Yes, the Suns were ridiculed for celebrating Booker’s achievement in a loss, but nothing has been going right for the Suns all year, so they had to celebrate something.

Booker’s performance is quite simply the best the NBA had to offer in a season full of them. Let’s hope that the playoffs prove to be as exciting as this regular season has been.
