Here’s how you can watch Game 1 of the first round series between the Chicago Blackhawks and Nashville Predators.

For the second time in three postseasons, the Chicago Blackhawks will be facing the Nashville Predators. The two Central Division rivals have grown to dislike each other quite a bit. Their first round series during the 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs was epic, with Chicago winning in six games. However, Nashville gave them a good run for their money. Chicago is hoping for a similar outcome this time around while the Predators are looking to flip the script.

The Blackhawks are led by their star captain Jonathan Toews. He has been on fire since Dec. 15, notching 19 goals and 27 assists, for 46 points over his last 50 games. Patrick Kane didn’t repeat his Art Ross winning performance from 2015-16, but he still finished the season with 34 goals and 89 points. In his second NHL season, Artemi Panarin put up 31 goals and 74 points, finishing just outside of the top-10 in points.

On the other side of the ice, the Predators are led by perhaps the best blue line in the NHL. Roman Josi and P.K. Subban combined for 89 points in 138 games. Ryan Ellis put up 39 points in 71 games while Mattias Ekholm has 23 in 82 games. Filip Forsberg has 26 points since the start of February while Viktor Arvidsson has 31. Goaltender Pekka Rinne will have to be at the top of his game to give the Predators a good chance of pulling off the upset. Luckily, he’s been very good as of late.

The Blackhawks are the favorites to win this series. In fact, they’re the favorites to win the Stanley Cup. However, as a wise man once said, “don’t tell me the odds”. The Predators will be looking to pull off a huge upset.
