Celta Vigo face Genk at the Balaídos stadium on Thursday, April 13. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Celta Vigo have been in superb form in the knockout rounds of the Europa League, and especially dominant defensively. Celta have only given up two goals in four games against Shakhtar Donetsk and Krasnodar, one away from home and one at home. Iago Aspas is the club’s leading scorer in the Europa League with four goals total, and John Guidetti is right behind him with three. Even though Celta have progressed to the quarterfinals, their performances have not been consistent throughout.  A slip up at home in the first leg could possibly see the Spanish club fail to reach the semi-finals, where they have never been before.

Genk have never been this far in a major UEFA tournament. The team from Belgium have scored at least one goal in all but one of their matches in the Europa League this year, with nine coming in the last four. Prior to this upcoming trip to Spain, Genk have beaten Astra 3-2 on aggregate and Gent (in the ultimate tongue twister match) 6-3. A leaky defense has plagued the Genk side in the tournament, and need to keep their defense tighter to see them through to their first ever semifinal as well. Mbwana Samatta is the top scorer, scoring five goals for his club during the group and knockout stages.
