It’s a New Day on SmackDown Live, yes it is

If you don’t like The New Day, you’re probably a hateful person who has no friends, no life and complains that John Cena wins all the time. (Wait, that was probably me when The New Day first started because how bad their gimmick sucked and it wasn’t their fault.)

The New Day is one of the most popular acts in all of wrestling and Kofi Kingston, Big E. and Xavier Woods are about as over as anyone on the roster. They’re hilarious, they act as themselves and the fans love them. Once Kingston returns from ankle surgery, they’ll be complete again and ready to entertain us all again in the best ways possible.

In case you’ve been living in a cave, here’s some of the things New Day has done over their time on RAW:

  • They wore unicorn horns on their heads
  • They drove around a cart promoting ice cream
  • They got into a one-up contest on the mic with The Rock
  • Xavier plays the trombone (named Francesca II after Francesca I was destroyed) all the time when he’s not wrestling in a match
  • Every promo includes a timely pop culture, sports, political reference and it’s usually hilarious

So, yeah … they’re a fun bunch and they already can’t wait to get to Tuesday nights.

Don’t you dare be sour, SmackDown fans. They’re great.
