Grading each move for SmackDown Live in the WWE Supertstar Shakeup
Charlotte Flair is now on Tuesday nights to rule
The first thing I thought about Charlotte Flair being on Tuesday nights now is, “Good lord, her entrance is so damn perfect. The remix of her father’s theme song, the look, the spin, the robes … she’s got it down pat.”
Charlotte needed a move away from RAW. Her booking had slowed down once she lost her pay-per-view winning streak at Fastlane to Bayley and she was really wasn’t going anywhere anytime soon with Alexa Bliss, Mickie James, Sasha Banks AND Nia Jax all vying for Bayley’s title.
Now, she can reestablish herself as one of the best women in the business today on SmackDown Live. There’s not much in the division with two departures (plus Nikki Bella being gone because of her neck issues). This division needed Charlotte and she needed this division.
For those who haven’t watched Charlotte on Mondays, she’s arguably the most gifted female athlete in the company. (I’d probably say she is the most gifted.) She’s strong, she’s beautiful, she’s a second-generation star and she’s got everything going for her.
You’ll be happy to know that not many pull off a better Moonsault in the ring than The Queen does. You’re going to like her a lot.
