Report: Marshawn Lynch, Raiders not close to deal
By Jack Crosby
After it seemed all but a given that Marshawn Lynch was headed to the Raiders, it might not be that much of a lock at the moment after all.
It’s been widely assumed recently that retired running back Marshawn Lynch would be making his way out of retirement, not to re-join the Seattle Seahawks, but to play for the Oakland Raiders instead. Friday it seemed as if that all was coming to fruition, as reports began to surface that a deal was in place, and all that needed to be done was for the Seahawks to complete their end of the deal with the trade.
Well, there’s a chance that all may not have been completely true.
A short time after the rumors started making the rounds that Lynch was headed to Oakland this season, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk sent everything into a bit of a tailspin when he said he was told a deal isn’t even close to being in place yet between the two sides.
To further debunk the Lynch-to-Raiders talk on Friday, the Skittles man himself took to Twitter to offer up his side, clearly telling everyone that nothing is a done deal yet … in a way that only he could.
This is Marshawn, so WARNING: Some NSFW language below.
A few hours ago people were waiting with their credit cards to purchase that Lynch silver and black jersey, but at least for right now, they shouldn’t plan on making a purchase all that soon.

Will Marshawn ultimately land in Oakland? All signs up to now have pointed to probably, but it doesn’t seem like official word will be coming in the extremely near future.
