Tottenham face Bournemouth at White Hart Lane on Saturday, April 15. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Tottenham currently sit seven points behind league leader’s Chelsea with seven matches to play. Spurs, realistically, are the only other side in the Premier League this season that can still catch Chelsea. Luckily for anyone who still wants a title challenge, they’re in scintillating form at the moment, winning six straight matches coming into Saturday.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side have been remarkably consistent throughout the campaign. They’re on track to surpass their best ever points total, and look to finish above where they landed last season for the second year in a row. Harry Kane will likely be ready for a start, if needed, after being out for a long stretch of time. He was substituted in the 61st minute last week against Watford, and is looking to shake off some rust.
Bournemouth, like most relegation battlers, have had an up and down season. Beating the likes of Everton, Liverpool and Leicester already, the Cherries can take down a top team like Tottenham if they execute their game plan to perfection. Eddie Howe’s club have had a torrid stretch of games in the past couple of weeks, playing Southampton, Liverpool and Chelsea consecutively.
Another match against a side in the top half of the league could prove to be costly. Bournemouth currently sit in 15th place in the Premier League, but are uncomfortably close to the relegation zone, however unlikely their drop may be. Luckily for them, their next two matches are against Middlesbrough and Sunderland, both extremely likely to be relegated.
