Blackhawks vs. Predators live stream, Game 2: TV schedule, online and more
The Chicago Blackhawks face a pivotal Game 2 in their first round series on Saturday against the Nashville Predators. Here’s how you can watch.
The Chicago Blackhawks entered the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs as the favorites to lift Lord Stanley. However, on Thursday night, they got upset by the Nashville Predators, falling to them 1-0. It’s the first time in over a decade they’ve been shut out at home in the postseason. Jonathan Toews only had one shot on goal despite playing over 20 minutes. Chicago will get a chance to rebound on Saturday in Game 2.
During the regular season, the Predators beat the Hawks just once in five games. However, Viktor Arvidsson’s snipe was the only one they needed. Pekka Rinne played great in net, getting his second career playoff shutout. The Predators shut down the Hawks with their deep blue line. They’re playing with house money at this point, which is a bit dangerous for the top seed Blackhawks.
On the other side of the ice, the Hawks will look to rebound. They have the postseason experience necessary to do so, but they must play better than they did in Game 1. Patrick Kane led the team with six shots on goal while Artemi Panarin had three. They’ll need more from the Toews line in Game 2 in order to tie up the series. Corey Crawford stopped over 20 shots, but couldn’t stop Arvidsson’s pretty goal.
