Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo starts the playoffs in style
Game 1 of the series between the Milwaukee Bucks and Toronto Raptors has begun. Less than two minutes into the ballgame, Giannis Antetokounmpo a.k.a. the Greek Freak threw it down in style.
The second game on Saturday’s schedule of NBA playoff games is between the Bucks and the Raptors. Could they follow the nailbiter between the Cavaliers and the Pacers?
Heck yes, and the Greek Freak, Giannis Antetokounmpo got the Bucks off to a great start with this monstrous dunk.
This is Antetokounmpo’s second season in the playoffs, after the Bucks missed the playoffs last season.
He’s been sensational so far in this game, with 15 points on 7-for-10 shooting from the field and a few thunderous slams with 5:43 to go in the first half.
The Bucks’ small forward has been fantastic this year, after being moved into the “point forward” role for Milwaukee. During the season, Antetokounmpo averaged 22.9 points, 8.8 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 1.9 blocks per game.
He was the first player in history to finish in the top-20 in the NBA in five different categories (points, rebounds, assists, blocks and steals).
For the 22-year-old, it’ll be fascinating to watch his maturation in this playoff series. Two years ago in the playoffs, he wasn’t nearly the player he is today, as they lost in six games in the first round.
The Bucks have a tough matchup in the first round with the Raptors, but it’ll be interesting to see if the Greek Freak can carry the Bucks to a first-round series win.

But in the mean time, Antetokounmpo throws it down for his first playoffs bucket in this year.
