Despite not winning their division, the Utes have been great in bowl games under Whittingham. The Utes are 9-1 in their 10 bowl games as head coach with their head coach in charge and the belief in Salt Lake City is one of optimism.

It appeared last year that the Utes were finally heading for that conference championship game. Unfortunately, a bad loss to Oregon and the regular season finale loss to the Colorado Buffaloes ultimately did them in.
Being in the conversation is nothing new when it comes to the Utes. It’s crossing that finishing line and finally winning their division that has yet to be seen. The spring game will air on the Pac-12 Network.
