Will CVS be open to customers on Easter Sunday 2017?

Easter Sunday has finally arrived and like many traditional holidays, stores often find themselves closed. It’s a federal holiday and while most government institutions are already closed on the day, they won’t be on Easter.

However, retail shopping is a little different.  Some stores choose to stay open regardless while others might close. One of those popular stores is CVS.

The pharmacy and retail giant is often a place people to stop in to either pick up something quick or to get the much needed medication. The good news is that they don’t have to worry about CVS closing on Easter.

The store will be open to customers on the holiday. It’s always best to use the store locator to get the hours for the specific location you shop at. It’s also important to remember that pharmacy hours are different than store hours.

The pharmacy opens a couple hours later and closes a couple hours before the store does each day. So it’s important to keep that in mind if there’s any need to visit the pharmacy on Easter Sunday or any other day of the week.

It’s a holiday where eating tends to consume the masses and giant dinners are to be expected. That means a stop might be necessary for any forgotten items of value.
