Day Two of the NBA Playoffs tip with four games on the main DFS fantasy basketball schedule. Get your team in the game with FanSided’s DraftKings daily picks.
After an action-packed Day One, the NBA playoffs go into Day Two with four more games on the schedule. Action starts at 1:00 PM ET with the Hawks at the Wizards. The second game pits the Trail Blazers at the Warriors at 3:30 PM ET, followed by the Bulls at the Celtics at 6:30 PM ET. Finally, the nightcap has the Thunder at the Rockets at 9:00 PM ET.
Storylines for Day 2 of the playoffs: The Wizards place their backcourt-led squad, fronted by John Wall and Bradley Beal, against the Hawks’ strong frontcourt led by Paul Millsap and Dwight Howard. The second game is a rematch from last season, when Damian Lillard let the Trail Blazers to at least put a scare into the mighty Warriors. This year, the Warriors have even more fire power but may still be re-integrating Kevin Durant back into the line-up and will try to do so without friction.
Tragedy struck the Celtics’ Isaiah Thomas, who lost his 22-year old sister in a car accident this weekend, but while it has not been officially announced it is expected that Thomas will play on Sunday. Meanwhile, the Bulls have had a lot of dysfunction with their somewhat redundant perimeter players, but find themselves in the playoffs with Jimmy Butler playing great ball and both Dwyane Wade and Rajon Rondo bringing reputations as great playoff performers to the table. Finally, in the marquee match-up, former teammates and MVP frontrunners Russell Westbrook and James Harden go head-to-head in the prime time game.
My favorite plays of the day can be found on the following slides in FanSided’s DraftKings daily picks. Each day in order to offer a variety of price points at each position, you can find two slides for each position–one for high-salary options and one for high-value options. Each pick is ranked on a scale of 1-5 stars to indicate the confidence in the pick. The final slide of this post has more detail on what each level means, but in short, more stars means more confidence in the selection on a points-per-dollar basis.
Important note, every day the goal of this post is not to give you a copy-and-paste lineup. Instead, each selection is given while highlighting the factors you need to consider when building a customized lineup for yourself. If you want to see an example lineup, you can find it on the final slide of the post, but I suggest you adjust your lineup to fit your personal taste.

In this post, all salary and “fantasy points” references are to DraftKings scoring system and salaries.
