Draymond Green has two monster blocks against the Trailblazers today.

Game 1 between the Golden State Warriors and Portland Trailblazers has been everything we hoped for so far. Kevin Durant is back and looking spry as ever, and Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum are doing their best to play the villains and pull off an improbable game 1 upset. Both teams seem locked in — even JaVale McGee looks like he knows what he’s doing out there.

With 5:50 left to play in the third quarter, Green stifled this Noah Vonleh dunk attempt with the kind of ferocity that only a few players in the league possess. Check out the block, courtesy of the NBA Twitter account below.

This is the kind of play that can spark a run in a close game, especially at home. Oracle Arena is the loudest stadium in the NBA, and you can be sure those fans are fired up right now. As if that weren’t enough, he followed his first performance up with an even more impressive swat.

This is the kind of intensity that Green brings to each and every game. He’s the kind of player with a motor that just doesn’t stop. He belongs in the same category as Russell Westbrook and Patrick Beverly. These are players with attitudes who aren’t afraid of anyone.Vonleh found that out the hard way today.

Portland lost any chance of stealing Game One against a Warriors team that just got Kevin Durant back from injury. Green finished with 19 points, 12 rebounds, nine assists, five blocks and three assists in leading the Warriors to a 121-109 win to take a 1-0 series lead in their first round matchup.
