High Salary PG

Russell Westbrook, OKC at HOU ($13,500): Westbrook just turned in one of the most amazing statistical seasons in NBA history, and he did so while playing only 34.6 minutes per game. The Thunder coaches actually managed his minutes in the regular season, but have already announced that he’ll play a larger minutes load in the playoffs, which could mean that his already absurd fantasy average actually increases in the playoffs. ****

Damian Lillard, POR at GS ($9400): Lillard finished the regular season strong, averaging 28.1 points with 6.5 assists, 5.4 rebounds and 1.6 steals in his last eight games before shutting it down. He struggled a bit in three games against Golden State in the regular season, scoring 23.3 points with 3.7 assists and 1.7 boards. On the other hand, he was much stronger against them in last season’s playoffs, so he has a precedent to expect big numbers. ***

Stephen Curry, GS vs POR ($9000): Curry increased his scoring average late in the season while Kevin Durant was out, averaging 28.6 points with 8.2 assists and 4.3 rebounds with 2.0 steals in his last nine games. Durant is back now, though, which could cut back into Curry’s numbers the way he did early in the season. In three games against Portland this year, Curry has averaged 27.3 points with 4.7 assists and 4.7 rebounds. ***
