The Pittsburgh Penguins face the Columbus Blue Jackets in Game 3 of their NHL playoff series at Nationwide Arena on Sunday, April 16.

The Blue Jackets return to Nationwide Arena in quite a hole. ColumbusĀ dropped the first two games of their best of seven series to the defending Stanley Cup champions, the Penguins.

When the playoffs began, Pittsburgh was expected to start Matt Murray. The previous season, Murray lead the Penguins to their fourth Stanley Cup. Instead, the Penguins have started Marc-Andre Fleury in net, and he has been absolutely fantastic to start the series. In two games, Fleury has allowed just two goals and has a 97.2 save percentage.

Pittsburgh captain Sidney Crosby was excellent in Game 2. Crosby added a goal and two assists as the Penguins defeated Columbus 4-1. If the Blue Jackets are going to win at home, they need to do a better job shutting down the Penguins superstar.

After scoring 35 goals in the regular season, Cam Atkinson has struggled in both games. The diminutive winger has managed just six points in the first two games. The Blue Jackets need to start creating offense, or they could be eliminated faster than they expected.

Game 3 between the Penguins and Blue Jackets will be broadcast on CNBC and Sportsnet 360 in Canada. Live streaming is available on NBC Sports, and Sportsnet Now which you can access with your cable or satellite, either online or through their app.

If the Blue Jackets are going to make a comeback in this a series, they need better play in net from goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky, who has allowed six goals on just 60 shots in the first two games.
