High Salary & Value PG

Kyrie Irving, CLE vs IND ($8700): Irving turned in a solid first game in the series, scoring 23 points with six assists, three boards, two steals and a block. These numbers are right in line with his season averages against the Pacers, and set a solid expected value for Game 2. ***

Mike Conley, MEM at SA ($7200): Conley scored 13 points with seven assists, five rebounds, three steals and a blocked shot in the first game of the series. But he was on his way to a much bigger game than that, playing extremely well through three quarters before the Spurs blew the game open and kept the starters off the court for a lot of the fourth quarter. If the Grizzlies can keep Game 2 close, he has higher upside. ****

Tony Parker, SA vs MEM ($4400): Parker is an older player now, and through much of the regular season he would show positive signs only to go on long spells of getting rest and/or ineffective play. However, the playoffs are built to help players like him, as he always has at least one rest day between games and can thus go higher intensity when he plays. In the first game of the series, he scored 18 points with two rebounds and two assists in 22 minutes before the blowout nature of the game allowed him to rest in the fourth quarter. This performance sets his expected value for Game 2, but he has upside if the game is closer. ***
