This week’s episode of CBS‘s Scorpion might sound a little familiar to regular viewers of the network, as its premise is in the same lane as one of the Eye’s recently cancelled shows.
Season 3, episode 22 is called “Strife on Mars” and sees members of Team Scorpion trying to find a way out of a bio-dome. Dare we say they’re stuck Under the Dome? Seriously, if there’s not at least one in-joke referencing the Stephen King adaptation during Monday’s episode, it will be a major missed opportunity. Especially since Scorpion itself is already so tongue in cheek, this one seems like an easy lay-up.
Or will the show make reference to its title and play a certain David Bowie song? Maybe make a nod to a certain British TV series starring John Simm? Okay, that last one is probably a stretch but the jokes here are endless.
At least this episode will most definitely be better than Bio-Dome starring Pauly Shore.
