Braun Strowman took to Instagram to thank Big Show following their encounter on Monday Night RAW.

If you happened to miss Monday Night RAW  this week, I actually feel sorry for you. A few superstars have tried to claim the flagship show for themselves over the years, with “RAW is Jericho” and “The Kevin Owens Show” immediately coming to mind, but with the recent actions of the former Wyatt Family member, can we now just start calling Monday nights “The Braun Strowman Beatdown Bonanza”? Because that’s what happened.

After taking out Roman Reigns in an awesome segment last week that saw Strowman flip over a freaking ambulance, he was back at it this week, demanding some more competition from new GM Kurt Angle. But when Angle refused and told him to take the night off, Strowman simply scoured the backstage area until he could find someone to destroy. And he did just that when he took out both Goldust and R-Truth before threatening a referee and then dragging Kalisto around and throwing him in a dumpster after calling him “garbage.” Hilarious stuff there.

Just a few seconds after, however, Big Show came bowling into the scene and knocked Braun into the metal door — gotta love that sound — and told him to pick on somebody his own size, which led us into the main event as the two giants squared off. It was going to be hard to top the match they had recently but they managed to pull it off with a great back-and-forth affair, highlighted of course by the superplex at the end of the match that literally tore the house down. Take a look.

If Braun Strowman, whose real name is Adam Scherr, wasn’t a superstar before Monday night, he is now and he took to Instagram on Tuesday to thank his opponent for an amazing experience in what could be viewed as somewhat of a passing of the torch from one giant to another.

That’s a classy move right there. And kudos to Big Show, not only for taking that bump but for being aware enough to know what his role is these days. He’s a true professional and always has been. As for Braun Strowman, he’s finally come into his own and is rapidly becoming one of the most popular wrestlers on the roster.

He’s scheduled for a match with Roman Reigns at Payback in a couple of weeks and it will be interesting to see how that plays out. Braun has a lot of momentum right now and it would be a shame to see this run go to waste. We’ll see how it plays out on April 30.
