Jim Harbaugh’s reaction to having a baby named after him is as amazing as it sounds.

It doesn’t take much to get Michigan Wolverines head football coach Jim Harbaugh pumped up. He’s the kind of guy who gets the jitters over just about anything. It’s one of his endearing traits and it’s likely what makes him one of the most polarizing figures in college football.

Love him or hate him, Harbaugh has a ton of passion and he’s not afraid to show it. Recently, a family named their child after him. Harbaugh naturally got extremely excited about it as you can see in a tweet he shared with a very enthusiastic caption.

With a name like Harbaugh, it’s hard to think the baby isn’t destined to be something special. However, this probably disqualifies him from ever entering Ohio. If it’s not against the law, the child should avoid it for their own safety. But the baby should be forever welcome in the state of Michigan, especially if his namesake brings the Wolverines back to glory.

Harbaugh has already done a phenomenal job quickly rebuilding his alma mater’s team. He has lofty expectations to live up to thanks to his father, but it appears Jim is willing to try to match them. Michigan has one of the best incoming recruiting classes, which should help improve a roster which was on the brink of a College Football Playoff berth.

Jim used to be a quarterback at Michigan. After a successful playing career in the NFL, including stints with the Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts, he’s gradually rose to his dream job as coach of his college team. Harbaugh’s coaching career has included stops at San Diego, Stanford and with the NFL’s San Francisco 49ers. Hopefully, he doesn’t lose his passion for life and his excitement over everything anytime soon.
