The NASCAR All-Star Race is a good way for top drivers to earn some extra dough, and now Busch beer is turning it into a similar opportunity for one lucky fan.

No points, no big deal at the NASCAR All-Star Race, right? Not exactly. Not only is the annual event in Charlotte a showcase for the sport’s biggest names, it’s also a way for them to add to their earnings significantly — and Busch beer is going to give one NASCAR fan the same vested interest in its outcome.

Specifically, a fan could win $1 million if Kevin Harvick, who will sport the Busch colors on his No. 4 Stewart-Haas Racing Ford on May 20, finds his way to Victory Lane. It’s not impossible, as Harvick already has three All-Star Race victories.

The promotion is tied to Busch beer’s new loyalty program, appropriately named Busch Bucks. Like many similar programs, it allows customers who purchase Busch products to earn rewards for buying them regularly.

Anyone who registers for Busch Bucks between now and May 6 will have a chance to win the grand prize, which is a trip to the All-Star Race in Charlotte. And if Harvick manages to come home first, that prize becomes a lot better, as it will make the winner $1 million richer.

“While we want to win every single week, the Busch Bucks million-dollar giveaway definitely ups the ante and adds some serious pressure to the No. 4 team in the All-Star Race,” Harvick said in a press release. “Even though it’s a non-points exhibition race, the stakes are going to be about as high as they can possibly be on May 20.”

To commemorate the occasion, Harvick’s No. 4 Busch Bucks Ford will sport a million dollar look of its own, as you can see above. While there will be any number of rooting interests come All-Star Race weekend, you might want to consider pulling for the No. 4 and the Busch Bucks winner anyway, because there’s a lot more on the line for them than in your average non-points race.
