The Montreal Canadiens face the New York Rangers in Game 4 of their NHL playoff series at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, April 18.
The Montreal Canadiens will look to head back to Montreal with a 3-1 lead in Game 4 of their series with the New York Rangers.
Montreal went into Madison Square Garden in Game 3 and won 3-1, behind the strong play of Alexander Radulov. The Russian winger has five points in the first three games of the series. Canadiens goalie Carey Price has been fantastic in net, posting a .944 save percentage. However, the Canadiens will need more from their two leading goal scorers, Max Pacioretty and Paul Byron. The pair has combined for just two points in the series.
New York’s offensive playmakers have been very disappointing in the playoffs. Mats Zuccarello, J.T. Miller, Derek Stepan, Chris Kreider and Kevin Hayes were the Rangers five leading scorers in the regular season. In the playoffs, the group has combined two points. The lack of offense from New York is wasting a great performance in net from Henrik Lundqvist. The Swedish goalie has posted a .941 save percentage in the series.
