Wednesday brings a full slate of games to pick from, and here are some tips to make the most of it in the day’s DraftKings spread.

The DraftKings offering today covers all 15 games on the MLB slate today, and will be broken down throughout various formats throughout the early, late and all-day pairings. Weather does not look to be an issue in regards to cancellations today at all, and a small offering of games will be competed underneath domes as well.

To keep up with all of FanSided’s DFS MLB coverage head over to the fantasy baseball hub where each day you can find a post like this tailored for DraftKings as well as one specifically designed for usage on FanDuel. In this post, all salary and “fantasy points” references are to DraftKings scoring system and salaries. If you have any additional questions or thoughts or are looking for updates as we approach tipoff, follow @fansidedfantasy on Twitter or you can follow my account at @CheapSeatFan.

Let’s take a look at your best options for both high-priced and value pitchers, as well as some MLB stacks, sleepers and must haves for the day ahead that could generate some big fantasy points today. Finally, we’ll throw together an optimal all-day lineup option that I am going with as well.

Top Starting Pitchers

Clayton Kershaw vs. Rockies ($13,800): Anytime that Kershaw is on the mound, it is at the very least worth plugging him into your lineup and seeing what you can build around him. Thus far, Kershaw has posted 32 points in two of his three starts….with the exception of against the Rockies, who managed only 12 against on April 8th. However, that was in the generous confines of Coors Field, while tonight will be back in Dodger Stadium. Expect the best from the best.

Madison Bumgarner vs. Royals ($11,700): MadBum returns to Kansas City for the first time since his legendary Game 7 effort in the 2015 World Series. And while the Royals career numbers against Bumgarner are heavily indicative of his irresistible postseason run that season, it is still a very favorable matchup for the lefty two years later. The Royals have largely been struggling at the plate of late, despite the four game win streak they are riding. Bumgarner should offer a great play at a slightly lower price than Kershaw on the day if one needs a little more cap room to spread out.

Kyle Hendricks vs. Brewers ($10,200): While Hendricks has undeniably under-achieved early in the season, Wednesday’s showdown at Wrigley has ‘get right game’ spelled out all over it. Hendricks dominated the Brewers a year ago, holding the current assortment of bats on the team to a .171 average against. The price is a bit high to gamble on, especially on a day when there are so many top arms on the mound for lower rates, but this is a bet that’s worth going all in on.

Top Value – Zach Greinke vs. Padres ($8,700): I had to look twice when I saw that Greinke was checking in with the 11th highest cost on the all-day market, with a tasty matchup against the Padres awaiting. Erick Aybar’s surprising career numbers aside (11-for-30 lifetime, with five doubles), Greinke has dominated the young Pads to date. This is a great chance to go low for a good arm on the late slate and use the $5,000 difference in salary between himself and Kershaw in that time slot elsewhere.
