DraftKings NBA Picks April 19
We are on to the second games of the first round series, but we only have three games on tap. That’s still enough to play on DraftKings! The first games are all over, so we should have more of a basis of what to expect in the coming games. At least I hope so.

The money line was at 254.75 last night. I was once again a little short, and it was all because of Bobby Portis. Joe Johnson and Malcolm Brogdon didn’t help, but they were close enough that it could have been overcome.
The winning lineup was up a little to 311. We can hit that, right? The Bulls stack worked big in this contest for the winner.

PG: Dennis Schroder ($7,400): John Wall was spectacular on the offensive end, but he allowed a lot of points to Schroder as well. There are a lot of places to spend money at this position, but if Schroder can put up anywhere near the 44.75 DraftKings points that he did in Game 1, I’m ahead of the game. Wall is the only one above him that put up more than 5x value in their respective first games.
SG: James Harden ($12,000): Harden “Let It Beard” at home in Game 1. I may not use him once the series shifts to Oklahoma City, but the Thunder couldn’t stop Harden at home when it really mattered. He is the one that put this game out of reach in the second half. Well, him and Beverley.
G: Patrick Beverley ($5,800): Beverley had a career game in Game 1. Don’t expect quite the output that he showed in that one, but there is no reason that Beverley wont come close to 6x value again.
SF: Andre Roberson($4,500): Roberson was the one piece of my Thunder stack from Sunday that came through for me. He did everything he could to keep the Thunder in this game with Russell Westbrook ice cold from the floor. Westbrook will likely have a better game, but I still expect Roberson to put up solid numbers like he did all year against Houston. He just wont flirt with 40 DraftKings points again.

PF: Draymond Green ($7,500): Green was everywhere in Game 1 against Portland. They have probably had nightmares about him for the last three nights. With Kevin Durant listed as questionable (it’s the playoffs…..he will play unless he can’t stand up), it’s possible that Green may be asked to take on an even larger role. I’m not sure how he could. Green stuffed the stat sheet with 19 points, 12 rebounds, nine assists, five blocks, and three steals in Game 1!
C: Javale McGee ($2,800): McGee played just ten minutes, but he racked up 17.75 DraftKings points in that short amount of time. McGee will never play huge minutes, but he is very productive when he is on the court. He provides salary relief with a nice floor. There is very little potential for a bust here, unlike Bobby Portis last night.
F: Markieff Morris ($5,600): Not only did Morris, Jason Smith, and Marcin Gortat hold down Paul Millsap and Dwight Howard in Game 1, Morris went off for 42.75 DraftKings points! Morris has played well against Atlanta all year, posting a 35.7 DraftKings points average against them over five games. He should have no issues hitting 6x value.
UTIL: Al-Farouq Aminu ($4,400): Aminu disappeared against the Warriors in Game 1. The whole Blazers frontcourt got nothing going. That makes Aminu a tremendous risk, but the stats are there to support him not having a horrible game like he did in the series opener. Of course, there is a chance that I will chicken out and go with Nene. Stay tuned….
