Taking a look at the synopsis for the Fargo season 3 premiere entitled ‘The Law of Vacant Places’ following Emmit and Ray Stussy in St. Cloud, MN.

Fargo season 3 will finally return on Wednesday, April 19 with the premiere and it promises to be one of the best episodes yet. More specifically, it promises to be one of the best starts to a season that the show has had just yet. Considering that we’re talking about “true crime” dramas here, that’s saying a great deal about what we could be in store for starting with episode 1 entitled “The Law of Vacant Places.”

St. Cloud, MN will provide the predictable backdrop for Fargo season 3, but it’s the characters that will seemingly drive the new chapters. At the forefront will be Ewan McGregor in the role(s) of brother Emmit and Ray Stussy. The two twins who have an odd and boiling relationship will find themselves in over their heads this season.

Though these seasons of Fargo are always separate from one another, it is all connected in the same universe. With that in mind, you always have to be on the lookout for those threads that connect each season. That’ll certainly be something that fans will want to keep an eye out for in the season 3 premiere.

Here’s a look at the synopsis for the Fargo season 3 premiere, per TV Guide:

"In the Season 3 premiere, a petty sibling rivalry between two brothers escalates and brings chaos to a small Minnesotan community."

Especially in last season, things certainly took numerous unexpected turns throughout in Fargo. The UFOs certainly come to mind. While it looks like they may steer clear of that in this season, you can never rule anything out when it comes to this show. Really, though, that’s part of the appeal.
