Rob Gronkowski is good at football and a lot of other things, too. So it’s no surprise that he crashed Sean Spicer’s White House presser on Wednesday.

The NFL has a football unicorn, so we have to enjoy him while he can. It’s not like he’s going to play for the New England Patriots forever. Tom Brady is an outstanding quarterback, but there’s only one Rob Gronkowski.

Nobody has had a better combination of talent and personality in the NFL since Deion Sanders was going full Prime Time in the late 1980s for the Atlanta Falcons. Gronkowski and many of his Patriots teammates made the trek to the White House to meet with President Trump after winning Super Bowl LI over Atlanta.

This is the second time that Gronkowski has won a Super Bowl with New England, but every day is a new exciting experience for this All-Pro tight end. People get lost in the West Wing all the time, so it shouldn’t be any surprise that Gronkowski found his way to press secretary Sean Spicer’s briefing.

Did Gronkowski crash Spicer’s meeting with the press? You bet he did and it was awesome! Gronkowski just comes up behind the curtain and straight up asks Spicer if he needs any help with his meeting. Spicer said he was good, but was definitely looking forward to hanging with him in a bit.

While Gronkowski has been the lovable goofball with the Patriots for the last several years, injuries have taken a toll on his promising NFL career. When healthy, he’s the biggest offensive mismatch in the game. He’s ultra-physical and an excellent route-runner with good hands. Few defensive players can keep up with him.

If injuries cause Gronkowski to hang up the spikes in a few years, he may want to begin a career in Washington. Does have the je ne sais quoi to be a press secretary? Maybe not, but he did ask a good question while wearing a suit, so he’s halfway there, right?
