Turkish league leaders Besiktas will fancy their chances of overturning the defeat they suffered last week in France when they face Lyon for a place in the Europa League semifinals.

Şenol Güneş’ side have a vital away goal thanks to Ryan Babel’s strike in the first leg at Parc Olympique Lyonnais. They will have been disappointed not to be be in a better position having lead until the 83rd minute though.

Besiktas are unbeaten at home in the league this season, winning ten of their 13 matches in 2016-17. They have also had a full week to prepare for this match.

Lyon have not had a good build up to this game. Their match at Bastia on Sunday was abandoned after home fans invaded the pitch and tried to attack the Lyon players during the warm up.

Their away form in France has also only been the sixth best in the division. They have won five and drawn three of their fifteen matches. The late goals by Tolisso and Morel in the first leg mean they only need a draw here though.
