The Milwaukee Bucks trolled the Toronto Raptors by playing the theme song from the kid’s show ‘Barney’ during team introductions.

It is playoff basketball. That means the gloves come off and anything goes. Players will partake in mind games and trash talk at a level that make sailors blush. Team media staff are not immune from the fun. And, sometimes, it is genius.

Tonight, during player introductions in Milwaukee, the Toronto Raptors were greeted with one of the best musical trolls in NBA Playoff history. The Raptors don uniforms that are garnered in red, black, silver, gold, and white. However, to the naked eye and at a distance, the red looks a little … well, purple.

And, Raptors are a dinosaur. Put that together, and you get trolling stardom.

Yes, that is right. The Bucks media team blasted the theme song from the children’s show “Barney” as the Raptors were introduced. And, while the music did not seem to affect DeMar DeRozen, Serge Ibaka, and their team at the time, the Milwaukee crowd enjoyed it quiet a bit.

Okay. It may not be the first time this has happened, but it is still hilarious. It is better than the Sacramento Kings using the theme for “Full House” against the Golden State Warriors. A close second is the New York Knicks playing the theme to pro wrestling group nWo when LeBron James brought the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Garden. LeBron finished the game 5-for-15 with 8 turnovers.

NBA Playoff games are competitive, and often physically demanding on the players. But, when the media staff gets involved, it is magic. So, Bucks staff, I love you, even if you do not love me. We can be a happy family.
