The Miami Dolphins went 10-6 last season and finished in second place in the AFC East. It was enough to earn them the second Wild Card slot in 2016.

The Miami Dolphins saw themselves as the surprise playoff team of 2016. However, injury and roster issues give the team a plethora of questions to enter their 2017 season. They will also play a tough second place schedule this season.

These are the home and road matchups:

HOME: Buffalo, New England, New York Jets, Oakland, Denver, New Orleans, Tampa Bay, Tennessee

ROAD: Buffalo, New England, New York Jets, Kansas City, Los Angeles Chargers, Baltimore, Atlanta, Carolina

Their schedule plays out as follows (Will update upon release):

The big question with the Dolphins is the quarterback position. The Dolphins did make the playoffs despite losing Ryan Tannehill for the season. However, there is a chance that the team will have to start their season with Tannehill recovering from his ACL injury, and it seems unlikely he will be active to start the season. The schedule played out to where they could survive without him and make the playoffs, but this season they will not only need him, but need to improve on his play to get back to the playoffs.

With major questions at quarterback, the Dolphins made sure to use their offseason assets on the defensive side of the ball. At linebacker, the team extended Kiko Alonso, and signed Lawrence Timmons to a two-year deal to sure up the center of their defense.
